LUDHIANA: All the U.A.D. leaders who have been detained under N.S.A. have been separated from one another. Previously all leaders were shifted from Chandigarh Jail to Tihar Jail, New Delhi, but now they have been shifted to different Jails Parkash Singh Badal has been sent to Coimbatore while Surjan Singh Thekedar has been shifted to TrichnaPall Jail. Gurdev Singh Badal has been jailed at Thane, Maharastra. This was stated by Manjit Singh Calcutta General Secretary UAD, according to him Sukhjinder Singh, Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa and Kul: dips Singh Wadala are still in Tihar Jail. Manjit Singh alleged that the Govt. was maltreating the U.A.D. leaders in the Jails.
