DALLAS, TX: Thelull in militant activity in Punjab is a part of a deliberate plan of the activist organization directing the movement. Announcing this here, Dr Amarjit Singh spokesperson of the Panthik Committee said Sikhs all over the world should not be misled by the Indian government propaganda because the fight for Khalistan is a continuing process. The foundation of Khalistan was laid in 1984 when the Indian army attacked the golden temple and subsequently indulged in the genocide of Sikhs not only in Punjab but all over the country. Addressing a congregation of devotees at Gurdwara Singh Sabha Dallas, Dr. Amarjit Singh spoke at length on the repression unleashed by the Indian Government on the Sikhs in India. He said the present lull in militant activity was due to a change of policy.
