Milpitas: Jessie Singh’s BJS Electronics, Inc., one of the fastest growing companies in America, opened its doors to its new state of the art facility on Sunday, June 16 to nearly 500 close friends and family. The Sikh ceremonial blessing of the 45,000 square foot facility on Montague Expressway in Milpitas marks the beginning of another chapter for this overnight Silicon Valley success story.

It was exactly 10 years ago that CEO/President Jessie Singh embarked on an entrepreneurial dream, buying and selling computer memory. From the auspicious humble beginnings of his garage, Singh has built BJS Electronics, Inc. into a$250 million a year worldwide empire and one of the largest memory distributors in the world. With the upcoming move into a modem facility, Singh is predicting continued success, “Our new facility will allow us to get into the manufacturing end of the business which means that we will be in a better position to meet the needs of the computer industry,” states Singh.

Currently employing 38 people, Singh is looking at doubling the workforce by years end. Part of that growth will come from the new manufacturing. Area which will be able to generate half a million computer modules monthly to meet the growing demands of the international memory market.

At Sunday’s Sikh ceremonial blessing, Singh gave thanks to Waheguru, the family that supported him when he arrived in the United States with 10 dollars in his pocket, and to the employee’s which he credits for helping the firm achieve its success.
