NEW DELHI: The fate of the controversial Enron project will be decided in the first week of July, when the report of the review committee set up by the Maharashtra Government to look into the projects to be submitted to the Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Joshi.
In an informal chat with journalists on June 24, the Deputy Chief Minister, Gopinath Munde, described press reports on the likelihood of the project being scrapped as “guesswork.” The committee putting the final touches to the report,” he said. Mr. Munde, who belongs to the BJP, heads the review committees.
