NEW DELHI: Bharatiya Janata Party President L, K.Advani has condemned the “dastardly” murder of its Bombay city unit chief Ramdas Navak and his bodyguard by five unidentified assailants in the western mega polls last week. He told newspersons that this latest tragedy highlights the state of “acute insecurity” which continues to grip the commercial capital of the country, During the Past two years, as many as three MLAs and nine municipal corporator have fallen victim 10 the bullets of the mafia, he said.
The BJP President held the Congress responsible for the culture of political violence that had taken shape in the country. He said people are disgusted with the repeated killings in the mega polis. “I am confident that the people will give their verdict in the coming Assembly elections and penalize the Government,” he said.
