CHANDIGARH, India: Punjab Haryana High Court Justice LS. Tiwana, granted a bail to Mohinder Singh, alleged accused who attacked former Chief Minister, Darbara Singh at Nangal. The prosecution story is that Mohinder Singh who had 38 bore revolver, fired six shots to kill Darbara Singh on March 13, 1984 in which Darbara Singh escaped unhurt, It was contended by Mr. KS. Sidhu, Counsel for the accused that the petitioner was not produced in any court of law for the past six months, He’s been kept in the Nabha jail as a hard-core “terrorist”. It was also contended that from the evidence supplied by the prosecution no charge was made out against the petitioner and he was in custody for the last two and half years.
