A Special Diwan was organized on Nov. 2nd, Saturday by the Sangat of Dallas in the memory of all Sikh martyrs, who gave their precious lives for the Sikh cause. S. Grewal organized Kirtan. S. Pithipal Singh Chatha who is Professor at Tyler University, Texas was the main speaker. He stressed upon the unity of Sikhs and urged the Sikhs to close their ranks and work for a common cause to liberate themselves from slavery. The Diwan was well organized and well attended. After the bhog ceremony langar was served. A campaign was also launched to enlist new WSO members and subscription drive for World Sikh News was also made.
