Sangrur — The Akali Dal president, Mr. Harchand Singh Longowal, on Sunday said the Dalwould plead the case of Sikh hijackers.
Talking to newsmen here, Mr. Longowal said the Sikhs had hijacked the planes to show their resentment against the no acceptance of the Akali Dal demands by the Centre. ‘They are not antinational,’’ he said.
He reiterated that the Anandpur Sahib Resolution must be accepted by the Government if it was keen on solving the Punjab tangle.
