AMRITSAR: The initiative launched by the Sikh clergy to unite the Akalis achieved the desired results as the Badal and Amritsar factions decided on Wednesday to unite in principle. The modalities will be completed by April 13 they claim.
The decision was announced by the SGPC president Mr. Gurcharan Singh Tohra from the Akal Takht after a six hour marathon meeting.
