NEW DELHI (PTI): Indian government June 14 reduced the general effective rate of customs duty applicable to baggage imported by incoming passengers from 150% Ad Valorem to 100% Ad Valorem.
The reduction in customs Ad Volorem duty on baggage takes effect from the mid night of Monday, an official release issued by the department of revenue here said.
