On behalf of the Sikh Welfare Foundation of North America, may I convey my heartiest elicitations to World Sikhs News on its successful completion of eight years of community service, Minorities of India in general, and Sikhs in particular, have been going through an extremely difficult time. Violation of Human Rights and suppression of truth by authorities make the task of a newspaper, whose job is to present the untainted facts to the public. Particularly difficult. In spite of all the obstacles you seem to have been keeping Sikhs and other minority communities of India, now settled in the Western Hemisphere, informed of the real happenings in India. You must be congratulated for that.
In spite of these times of turmoil you do not seem to have forgotten or neglected the spiritual and cultural side of our community’s needs. Publication of numerous articles in your paper by learned researchers on these “issues is highly commendable.
Your editorial policy seems to be crystallizing beautifully towards amateur approach to educational, cultural, and religious needs of our younger generation.
We pray to Satguru to bless you greater capacity and ability to keep on serving our community with continuing enthusiasm for many years to come.
