AMRITSAR: The Khalistan ‘Armed Force has formulated a seven-point program to give a new direction to the Sikh struggle.

In a press release issued here, the force said a meeting of the force’s leaders was held at a secret place recently. The differences among the militant were prolonging the struggle, it observed.

The force, according to the press release, announced an award of 5,000 for any one handing over looters and extortionists to the militants. The force would give a fitting punishment to such elements.

Through a resolution, the force appealed to the Sikh religious ‘organizations to baptize more and more people.

The force also called for a complete boycott of the Punjab Police and directed the panchayat to solve various disputes of the public in the village Gurdwaras.

The force appealed to the Sikhs not to consume meat and alcohol ‘and solemnize marriages and other functions in a simple manner. The statement asked government. Officials particularly teachers and doctors, to give maximum attention  to public welfare and refrain from accepting bribes.

The force’s General Bhai Chanchal Singh Udhoke, has directed all the Lieutenant Generals and area commanders to strictly enforce the resolutions, according to the statement.
