CHANDIGARH: The Punjab and Haryana High Court ordered the state government to release Ajmer Singh Lakhowal president of the BKU and others in accordance with the orders already handed down by different courts
The petitioners claimed that the at+ tempt of the state government was to prevent BRU Leaders from protesting against the anti-farmer politics of the government which included increase in power tariff for the agriculture sector inadequate flood relief and signing of Dunkel proposal.
