AMRITSAR: The police took away all available members of the family of K.L.F. activist Palwinder Singh Sona from his village Khalehara March 8 the village headman Swinder Singh in a representation to the Punjab Governor alleged.
Sona’s father Ajit Singh was not present in the house at the time of the police raid. Those detained included Ajit’s son Jasmel Singh sister-in-law’s son Jagrup Singh wife Satte and son-in-law Tejinder Singh. The headman apprehended the detained persons might be killed in a fake encounter. Sona was a high school student three years ago. He went to the school one day but never came back. He is now said to be associated with the K.L.F.
