NEW DELHE; A police constable went berserk here Carly Tuesday morning when he shot dead a sub-inspector and a con- stable, injured another constable and later killed himself, police said.
The Maharashtra constable M. A Askar shot dead sub-inspector VN Nigam and constable G D Thakre when they were taking a bath at around 0630 hours in Kashmiri gate election office, where they were on guard duty.
Askar then shot at constable 1 P Sonkar, who chased him. Sonkar was removed to the hospital, where he is stated to be serious, police said.
Askar later killed himself by shooting under the chin, police said.
