STOCKTON, CA: Congressman Richard Pombo recently showed his support and commitment to the Combined Federal Campaign (CFO) as he toured the San Joaquin County Child Abuse Prevention Council in Stockton as part of the 1994 CFC Campaign Kickoff. The Combined Federal Campaign is the giving campaign for federal employees, and is currently underway. Last year, the Combined Federal Campaign raised $287.252 for a vanity of nonprofit organizations. This year’s CFC campaign goal is set at $310,000, ‘Congressman Pombo is the highest ranking federal employee in San Joaquin County and personally supports the CFC Campaign, which is currently underway. “Congressman Pombo’s support of the CFC shows the level of commitment at all levels of federal government in San Joaquin County,” said Terry Lowe of General Services Administration and the 1994 Combined Federal Campaign Chairperson. The Child Abuse Prevention Council is a local agency which provides a vanity of services to prevent child abuse. Congressman Pombo toured the Council with Chairperson Terry Lowe and Postmaster Robert Provencio.
