In recognition of work done among Seniors of South Asian Origin, and providing leadership Mr. Nidhan Singh Banwait has been appointed as a member of the Multicultural and Race Relations Committee of the Etobicoke City Council.
Mr. Banwait brings a strong background to this position. He has been a political leader in India and in the forefront of Community Development Work in Canada. He has served on Boards of SASSO and its President of Canadian Council of South Asian Seniors, a Central forum for South Asian Seniors. He is also the President of South Asian Seniors, Rexdale and active in other Clubs. It is a befitting tribute to Mr. Banwait for his self-less Service and hard work among the Community Organizations.
