JALANDHAR: Harcharan Singh Hero, acting president of the Punjab Congress and Chowdhary Santokh Singh, MLA last week denied that official machinery was being misused in the Jalandhar Lok Sabha as alleged by the BJP and the Akali Dal (Badal).
In a joint statement here they said that the Congress was running the campaign strictly according 10 rules framed by the Election Commission.
