On Sunday Sept. 21 1986 Guru Gobind Singh Foundation will hold a special diwan in the memory of late Sirdar Kapur Singh who departed for his heavenly abode on Aug. 13 1986
Sirdar Kapur Singh a veteran Akali leader and former Member of Parliament were designated as the National Professor of Sikhism. He was also a learned scholar and was considered an authority on Sikhism. It was he who originally drafted the Anandpur Sahib Resolution and defined the political aspirations of Sikh community.
We have invited a close associate of Kapur Singh to speak on some aspects of his life.
Please come and pay respects to this noble personality who dedicated his entire life towards the service of the Panth.
The program will be held at our regular place at Viers Mill Park from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
