HISSAR, India; Two close associates of Union Minister of Environment and Forest have been remanded to police custody. The police have rejected cases against these close associates and two nephews of Bhajan Lal. All five are taken into custody at Hissar and Fatehabad while Mr. Mahajan and Uggar Sen were taken into custody at Hissar, Mr. Radha Kishan and nephews of Bhajan Lal were arrested at Fatehabad. Cases have been registered against all the five under section 123, 454, Cr.P.C. 436, 138 139 and 420 shop keepers in the Rajgarh market kept their shutters down in protest against these arrests.
