Mr. Kapur said one of the important objectives of this campaign was to provide civil interface to the state administrations and reinforce its civil image. It was hoped that the joint tours would help restore the confidence of the people in the state administration.
The officials have been asked to send a report about the action taken and the progress achieved to” the department of grievances of the state government every fortnight. The first such report is expected to be filed in on February 15.
