Meanwhile the Circuit Court of Fairfax County appointed John J. Kercha, Esq as commissioner and ordered him to determine whether the vote which took place on March 28 by the General Body Meeting of the Gurdwara was valid. The commissioner has also been asked to resolve the dispute as expeditiously as possible and “protect against any misunderstanding and disturbances at the temple.” Both contending parties have been told to perform the functions of Secretary at the Thursday and Sunday congregations on alternatives weeks during the interim period. The parties to the dispute are Sikh Foundation of Virginia, as plaintiff and Narinder Singh) as defendant both parties were admonished and warned from causing disturbances during services at the Gurdwara. Judge Marcus D.William of the Circuit Court delivered the judgment on April 14.
