Sir,

We support The World Sikh News as it is only vehicle of media for Sikhs in U.S.A. However, it is imperative for a good journal to be factual and free from personal prejudices in order to maintain its credibility and respectability, It is in this context we deplore your censorship in eliminating Dr. Aulukh from a photograph with Congressman Dan Burton and others at a fund raiser held at Dr. Ajrawat’s residence in Maryland.(W.S.N. June 14,1991) You have also completely wiped Out the statement made by Dr. Aulukh on every issue and we also respect your right of editing but this kind of censorship, motivated by personal reasons, instill in our minds doubts about integrity of W.S.N. If you endorse this malpractice in journalism, why fight agaisnt censorship imposed by Indian Govt? Why keep the dual standard? If your action was somehow a reaction caused by Dr. Aulukh, I simply urge you to follow time tested maxim;” Two wrongs do not make one night.” We, the readers, implore you to rise above. Pettiness and selfishness for the sake of the community you all are serving, and let W. S .N. be a journal proud of its impartial reporting and lofty standards.
