The World Sikh Organization organized the Sikh Intercommunity Cultural Banquet on April 1 in Ottawa.
S.Gian Singh Sandhu, was the keynote speaker at the function which was attended by a number of Canadians.
James A. Allan, a principal of Confederation High School wrote to WSO to say that “it was a most informative pleasant evening. The guest speaker explained yery clearly the problems faced by minority groups in the country. I was so much impressed by his remarks that took the opportunity to bring some of them to the attention of the staff and students.
He also invited the WSO to make a classroom presentation at his school.
