CALCUTTA: The Cameroon soccer team along with Roger Milla arrived in the city on November 20 to participate in a short tournament to mark the centenary celebrations of Mohun Began Club and tercentenary celebration of the city.

Cameroon, which stunned the world with their breathtaking performance at the Italy World Cup, will play against Mohun Began and East Bengal from November 22 to 26, Organisers told newsmen.

Apart from participating in the tournament here, the team will play a match at Durgapur on November 28 and another at Guwahati on November 30.

Though 38yearold Roger Milla will be the main attraction from the African side, Calcutta’s will miss other World Cup stars like Oman Biyik, Makanaki and the custodian N’Kono, who also contributed to Cameroon’s unforgettable performance in Italy.
