The religion which believes in human sacrifices to propitiate gods and goddesses and practices Sati even today, cannot qualify to be called a religion as per Paine’s definition:
* A group of congregants were asked by their pester whether they prayed regularly to God, and if so, what they always prayed for. One said for health, another for happiness, another for salvation in the world to come but one congregant kept shaking his head, and when it came to his turn, he said, “It’s very simple, I believe in God and what I; pray for is that He believes in me”.
Rajiv Gandhi would have said, “I don’t believe in God. It is God that must believe in me”.

It is certainly true even today. Sikh youth in Punjab is only reacting to Indian government’s State terrorism.

Rajiv and Ribeiro are the true living examples of this. They have forgotten that those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones at others. Sikhs will never take it lying down, they know how to sacrifice and grow. They have done it several times.
* When there is an epidemic of violence, nobody can consider him immune.
Central government in India has created trouble in Punjab, UP., Assam, Gujarat, Goa, Andhra and Sri Lanka at the same time. How can such system of government survive? It is only a matter of time when the system will collapse and Delhi will fall.
