CHANDIGARH:  The Bahujan Samaj Party has decided to ente rthe Sikh politics in Punjab.

Addressing a news conference here party President Kanshi Ram, Jast week, announced his party would contest elections to the general house of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and participate in the gurdwara management (o check the misuse of the Shines. He said it was the Bahujan Samaj which had made the maximum sacrifices for the Sikh religion.

He said his party would also contest the forthcoming panchayat ‘samiti and zila parishad elections in Punjab.

He made it clear that his party would not seek any alliance for ‘contesting the SGPC elections.

 He Said is part of its national policy, his party was opposed to the ‘Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party as the BSP was in competition with them.
