SRINAGAR: Curfew was imposed in Bhaderwah town in Jammu on April 14 while a massive security net was thrown over the Civil Line areas here following a “Lal Chowk chalo” call by the outlawed Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (KLF).
A BSF Jawan and a militant were among four people killed in Jammu and Kashmir.
Militants attacked a BSF picket in the Apple township of Sopore on Wednesday, killing a Jawan.
Prohibitory orders under Section 144 were being strictly enforced in the Civil Line areas to avoid untoward incidents.
Security forces were given orders to deal firmly with those trying to disturb peace.
