By A Staff Reporter AMRITSAR: Following an outcry of police brutality in Majitha, a number of sarpanches village headman of the area got together and filed formal! complaints against nine police officials of the area.
They were subsequently transferred. The police officials were accused of arresting innocent youths, torturing them, demanding bribes to release youths who were not charged etc.
