QUETTA, Pakistan, Reuter: Netherlands came back from a goal down to outclass Pakistan 41 in the second hockey test here on Saturday.
Mare Delissen popped home a rebound a few seconds before halftime to cancel out Pakistan’s 10thminute Lead. After the interval the former World Champions lost cohesion and the Dutch romped to their second tour victory with two goals from fullback Floris Bovelander and one from Gijs Weterings.
The Netherlands won the first of the five internationals32 on Wednesday.
The visitors profited from their superior penalty drill, converting two of their six penalty corners. Pakistan scored from only one of their nine penalty comers, I Pakistan’s started strongly and took the lead with a sizzling, shot. Rom Captain Nasir Ali off their second ‘corner. The rest of the half was fairly even until Delissen finished off a neat combined move just before the interval

Pakistan were thrown out of their stride when Centre forward Irfan limped off with a twisted ankle and a reshuffle of the midfield brought only ‘confusion Bovelander put the visitors in lead early in the second half from a penalty comer. Weterings made it 31 after a solo run which he finished with 4 near shot into the comer despite being off balance and Bovelander second goal in the 77th minute completed the scoring.
