RAWALPINDI: British MP. Nell Thoren, who recently visited Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, has regretted the denial of the right of self-determination to the people of Kashmir. He was ‘accompanied by his colleague, Marry Green Way.
Nell Thoren gave his impression of the visit to Pakistan in London. The M.P. represents the constituency of Alford in the British Parliament.
He expressed regret that the people of the State of Jammu and Kashmir were not given the chance to decide their own future in a plebiscite under the auspices of United Nations despite the fact that India and Pakistan had agreed to do so, He suggested that every year on the anniversary of United Nations, the world should be reminded of the UNCIP resolutions on Kashmir.
