CHANDIGARH: Akali leader Simranjit Singh Mann asked Sikhs living in border areas to seek shelter in Pakistan if they thought they faced the danger of genocide at the hands of Indian Army.
Village sarpanches and panches met Mann to complain that an Army Brigadier called them to Sarangra camp last week to threaten that all males in the villages would be eliminated and that Sikh women would be sent to Army camps so that a new generation could get birth. The village leaders belong to Sarangra Panjo Rai Lodhi Gujjar Rai Kakkar and Alla Baka. They said it was not possible for them to remain in their posts. The Brigadier called them to the Army camp and humiliated them beyond words. They demanded strong action against the Brigadier.
