Spiritual crisis of the west The western world is undergoing a spiritual crisis which is caused by an over-rationalized way of thinking and a materialistic life style. This famished spirit on the one hand and the inability to cope with the present ecological, political and social reality on the other hand make the American Indian, the Asian and old pagan European spiritual beliefs attractive to many Westerners as a way to escape to “higher” spheres. By changing their consciousness through positive thinking and occult techniques, many frustrated Westerners hope to find relaxation and contact with the spiritual aspect of life and are often not conscious that they are trapped by a racist, fascist ideology which is termed New Age since the 60s. Theosophy The present spiritual boom is based on the theosophical movement, The theosophical society with its international headquarters at Madras, Adyar, was founded in the 19th century by H-P. Blavatsky, a Russian aristocrat, and gave the esoteric, spiritual movement a worldwide impetus.

Blavatsky, with the help of mahatmas from the Himalaya, had put up in her book, “The Secret Doctrine’ (1988), the theory that the white Aryan race, “the Big White Brotherhood,” including Krishna, Buddha, Jesus but also M.K.Gandhi and Aqolt Hiller, has been chosen to lead the world while the Blacks are convinced to follow them,

The Aryans are on the highest level of reincarnation, the race of the Black is on a low level of reincarnation and the tribals are nothing but the remnants of the lowest level of race doomed to vanish, Race theory This race theory is based on karma, caste and reincarnation, the principles of the Hindu philosophy. The Aryadom is thus uniting the Brahmins with the German Nazis.

Indeed, the theosophical movement has gained ground during the Third Reich and Blavatsky’s Secret Doctrine was among the favorite books of Adolf Hitler. Nazis liked Gita The Bhagwad Gita was Himmler’s, one of the German top Nazis, favorite books and Hitler was celebrated in some Nazi-circles as the reincarnation of Krishna. In the late sixties, the theosophical movement got a fresh impetus and recruited its members mainly from the upper classes, academics and rich entrepreneurs.

Whites as leaders: In the 60s the New Age movement emerged out of the theosophical philosophy and preached the breakdown of the old materialistic age and the beginning of a new golden spiritual era under the lead of the white race, or to be even more precise, the US-American lead in which Spiritual power can resolve all our present problems, In 1967, Sir G. Trevelyan organized in England the first New-Age-Conference whose attendants came from the bourgeois upper class, the aristocracy and the forces.

British prophet: In the early 70’s the British New Age Prophet, D.Spangler, brought the New Age philosophy to the United States which was received with open arms by some parts of the Hippie movement, which had turned its back on Vietnam and politics and often with the help of drugs was looking for spiritual salvation, In the early 80’s the New Age wave reached Western-Europe, especially the German speaking countries, and Eastern Europe including the USSR under Gorbachev, and gained ground in the ecological movement, in conservative parties, in the business world, the UN and in re-emerging extreme rightist groups thus convening the whole political spectrum,

Gulf War: Special attention has to be directed to the infiltration of New Age into the UN, which importance has been reaffirmed since the Gulf War, Following Alice Bailey, a famous theosophist, the UN has the task to govern the world with the new conscious. “The Planetary Citizen,” a New Age Group, which was founded in 1972 and whose prominent members are among others the Dalai Lama, the Nobel Prize winner Konarad Lorenz, Queen Juliana of the Netherlands, the composer Leonard Bernstein and the peace researcher Johan Galtung, has been recognized as a sub-section of the UNESCO. The “Planetary Citizen” made the idea of the UN as a New Age world government popular.

The Spiritual World University,” founded by the diamond merchant and yogi Brahma Kumari’s in 1937, was recognized in 1980 as a non-governmental organization (NGO) and was given a special status in the UN subsection UNESCO and ECOSOC.

Brahma Kumari poison: The wife of the ex-General Secretary of the UN, Marcela Perez de Cuellar, was the chairman of the meditation ceremony organized by the World University in the Indian World Peace Hall in 1989, The Indian guru, Chinmoy, holds lessons in meditation for members of the UN, Thus we see that the UN gradually becomes an agent of New Age philosophy, which is a threat to humankind,

The ego-cult: New Age is an apolitical esoteric doctrine of salvation paving the way to a social behavior and justification of social injustice. T. Dethlefsen, spiritual teacher of many managers and businessmen, says that the world is beautiful and that everyone should accept it with all its drawbacks and injustices since they are all determined by karma. He advises not to try to improve the life of others because one shouldn’t interfere in their karma and the everlasting world order, Our sole aim should be the higher development of oneself.

The guru cult: The guru or leader-cult, which can easily tum into a dictatorship, is another characteristic of New Age. The followers of a spiritual group have to submit themselves to the whims of their guru-leader. Rational critical thinking is superseded by an irrational belief in a divine guru and his preaching’s. During mass meetings, which are often accompanied by hysteria and ecstasy, the guru is venerated like a god. At that stage the disciples are ready to be indoctrinated by a reactionary, often fascist and racist philosophy.

Origin of racism: The karma and reincarnation theories on a racist base, the ego-cult and the guru principle derive as we know from Hinduism or Brahmanism and have, with the spread of theosophy, been extended on a world scale. With the emergence of New Age in the 60s, cunning Indian gurus have understood that their time has come to go to the west and to dissipate the principles of Hinduism while making big business out of this fascist philosophy at the same time. Beatles & Mahesh Yogi: The famous pop groups, the Beatles, had a close relationship and were deeply impressed by gurus such as Maharshi Mahesh Yogi who brought transcendental meditation (TM) to the west, and Bhakti Vedanta Swami Prabhudapa, the founder of the Hare Krishna order.

Poor are lazy?: Mahesh Yogi said during a press conference in New York in 1968, that people are poor because of their laziness and lack of intelligence, He propagated his TM which was subsidized by the US to wipe out the revolutionary potential and enhance docility in factories, universities and jails  Is recognized as an organization of education and is therefore tax exempt, even as it turned in the meantime into a billion-dollar combine and has become the most important meditation practice used by firms such as General Motors, General Foods and Crocker National Bank of San Francisco in the US and Siemens in Germany.

At the end of the 60s, the Hare Krishna movement joined rock Stars such as Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan, Grate ful Dead at a concern in San Francisco, which made this movement even more popular in the States and Europe.

The philosophy of this movement is that the chanting of Hare Krishna helps relieve humankind of all sufferings.

Prabhudapa said that those who are chanting this mantra need not read any books anymore, which indicates that the disciples are made uncritical followers of the guru’s teachings.

Ford motors: The Hare Krishna disciples don’t aim at a material revolution. George Harrison, a member of the Beatles, was enchanted by the idea of all workers. on the Ford assembly line in Detroit singing Hare Krishna while bolting on the wheels, because it might help the auto industry and would lead to better cars. So workers should be made more docile while the unjust social order should remain.

Rajneesh & Hitler: One of the most popular gurus in the western world is Rajneesh who can count more than 350,000 disciples mostly coming from Europe and the US upper middle circles. Rajneesh, who died in 1990, condemned communism and praised capitalism as the only natural form of living. As an upper caste philosophy teacher, he looked down on Dalits and advocated their forced sterilization. Besides, he was for the nuclear armament to counter Pakistan and China. He was an admirer of Adolf Hitler and studied his strategy of mass mobilization, In 1981, he went to. Oregon, US, where his followers” built with their money the fortress. Rajneesh puram, including a paramilitary group, where the Bhagwan was venerated as a divine leader, Due to pecuniary difficulties in 1985, he turned back to his ashram in Poona, where he died in 1990.

Pune ashram: The ashram in Poona is still visited by his followers to repeat the Gurus that after his death Bhagwan spirit is even more present during their meditation,   Thus we can see how the Brahmin philosophy is infiltrating in a very subtle way the western middle and upper classes. Our task is now to show those who are unaware of this racist invasion, through New Age and the spiritual esoteric movement, the true face of this movement it.

Fear of Greens: Personally, T fear that the alternative Green movement, which is still one of the most progressive movements with an emphasis on social justice, solidarity with the oppressed and the third world, might be overrun by sympathizers of the New Age.
