On the onset it is to be noted, once again here is book written by another government of India employee so obviously one cannot expect him to write anything in favor of Sant hinderwala,
“Sau Chuhae Kha Ke Bili, Haj Karan Nu Chali”. As if insult to the Sikh community was not enough after the 1984, Operation Blue Star in which they murdered the beloved Sikh preacher Sant Bhinderwala and his comrades and desecrated Sri Harimandir Sahib, General Brar, the clean shaven Sikh goes on the record to condone Mrs, Gandhi’s decision to attack religious institution with tanks and heavy artillery and calls this sad chapter of Indian history the true story. General Brarisan army officer, army people are trained to kill and not think: Otherwise, that is precisely they accomplished in their clumsy operation, Not even the ones who surrendered were spared, each and every person who was recognized to be a sympathizer of Sant Bhinderwala was systematically tortured and killed. Brar has the nerve to insult Longewal and Tohra the other Sikh leaders who were caught in the crossfire, for changing their mind to surrender rather than not leaving the institution till their last blood as they had allegedly vowed before the assault.
Brar’s pretext for assaulting the Golden Temple is the same the religious place was being used by criminals and hell had broken lose in Punjab due to Sant Bhinder wala’s daily dikh its sermons which in effect approved of the murders taking in Punjab allegedly by Bhinderwala’s men, Punjab police was incapable of handing the situation and judiciary was equally scared of prosecuting anyone.
If that is true, may I ask how many Muslim criminals were hiding in Baba Masjid which the RSS, Shiv Sena, JanSangh supporters demolished few years back around 1993? Why did the Congress who was in power al the time and still is did nothing to control these hooligans? Why wasn’tthearmy ordered to stop this criminal trespassing in Ayodhaya? Why hasn’t a single Person been prosecuted for this as ‘sault on a national historic shrine? Why hasn’ta single Shiv Sena mem bernot been prosecuted for the wave of terror that was unleashed on the Bombay Muslims following this incident? Why hasn’t Congress prosecuted criminals involved in the sav ‘age butchery of over 10,000 Sikhs following Indira’s assassination of 1984? Only one conclusion can be drawn from this Mr, Brar, in India, two sets of rules are prevailing, one for the Hindus who are ruling and the other for the minorities and you are obviously blinded to these facts, since you Count on your bread and butter from the rulers, You are questioning why has Sant Bhinder wala become a martyr and why is the community angry for the army’s assault on the most sacred Sikh shrine? ‘The answer is very simple, if Hindus can give Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray and his goons the Hindu of the Year award, Sikhs have every right to recognize Sant Bhinder wala and his comrades for the sacrifice they made for their community.
Sant Bhinderwala is the only person who had the nerve to challenge corrupt establishment which was being ruled by an equally corrupt and power hungry leader Indira, who put her selfish interest ahead of the interests of the country and the various distinct communities living in India. ‘This proved to be too much for Indira and so she set out to teach him and the Sikhs a lesson and the rest is history. If Sant Bhinderwala was a party to a murder/s then why was he released during his prior arrest? Sant Bhinderwala had very valid reasons for moving into Sri Harimandir Sahib, since he was very much concerned of being eliminated through state militancy which had been unleashed in Punjab during those days and is still continuing.
