LUCKNOW: A crude bomb exploded near the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav’s residence early Wednesday injuring a police subinspector
The director general police V K Jain said three more bombs were removed from outside the Kalidas Marg residence of the chief minister.
Yadav said he suspected involvement of pro-Hindu Bharatiya Janata Party in the explosion and the party with trying to create violence before the general elections.
A sub-inspector of police in the provincial armed constabulary (PAC) Harish Ram Arya was injured while he was defusing the bomb.
Yadav told reporters that four more unexploded crude bombs had been found near his residence
