CHANDIGARH: Dayal Singh who calls himself chief general of the so called Indian National Army has been released by the Delhi police after a few days of detention, according to reports

Militants regard Dayal Singh as police “eat” set on killing unarmed next of kin of militants and Sikh political leaders.

Dayal Singh told certain journalists on the telephone that he was released as there was no case pending against him cither in Del hi or Punjab.

It may be recalled that Dayal Singh had repeatedly claimed through the media that his organisations had killed of injured a few Akali Dal leaders such as Major Ghuman or Atma Singh but evidently the police did not register any case against him or any other person belonging to the LNA.

Dayal Singh thanked the Hindu Shiv Sena for seeking and securing his release.

Meanwhile, INA appealed to Nihangs to support it in is efforts to end “antisocial elements” from the sacred land of India,

Dayal Singh’s release is a significant development because it could not have been possible without the intervention by top political persons in authority.
