PATNA: Right wing Indian Political party Bhartiya Janata Party Vice President Vijaya Raje Scindia, said Sunday that her party was ready to soften its stand on the issue of seat adjustments with other opposition parties, in the coming assembly polls in Bihar, “in the true spirit of accommodation.”

Scindia told a press conference that notwithstanding the claims earlier staked by the BJP state leadership for over 100 assembly seats, her party might climb down wherever “it was in the larger interest of the opposition unity.”

She asserted that the BJP had no precondition in participation in the Janata Dal government for seat adjustments.

She also made it clear that the Janata Dal would always get the support of the BJP if it came to power.
