BHOPAL: Rightwing Bharatiya Janata Party vice president K R Malkani Thursday said he could not rule out the possibility of his party seeking the Cong-I’s support to form a government.
Addressing a meet-the-press “program here when asked if his party would seek Congress (I) support to form a government Malkani said “anything is possible”.
The BJP vice president said his party had nothing personal against Congress (I) chief Rajiv Gandhi but added the task of solving this country’s problems were “beyond him”.
Asked if his party would also seek the support of the National Front in forming a government Malkani said it was wrong to call it“National Front and it should be described as a group of warlords”.
He said the Congress (I) BJP and Muslim League were sup- porting the same independent candidate against former federal minister K P Unikrishnan in Vadakara constituency in the southern Indian state of Kerala.
