STOCKTON: Gurbhan Kaur Bisla passed away on December 23, 1991 at the age of 76. She was the wife of the late Dr. Udham Singh Bisla. She is survived by Gurbachan Singh Pataria, D.S.P. retired, Principal Gurmit Singh Pataria, and sisters, Amarjit Kaur Dhatt and Pritam Kaur Nijjar. She was mother of Sukhdev Bisla of Linden, CA., Amarjit and Brigdev Bisla of Lodi, CA, Dr. Ranjit Bisla of Phoenix, AZ, and Dr. Mon Mohan Bisla of McMinnville, OR, and also grandmother to 10 grandchildren.
She suffered a stroke early Monday morning at the home of her son, Sukhdev Bisla, where she had been living for the last 12 years. She died later that morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Stockton, CA. Funeral services were held on December 28 at Lodi Funeral Home.
The family says that she was a wonderful woman with a big heart and a lovely smile who enjoyed a full life. She will be missed dearly.
