CHANDIGARH India: The interrogation of Sardami Bimal Kaur Khalsa widow of S. Beant Singh in the case relating to the death of Mr. Avtar Singh has been completed by the City Superintendent of police Mr. Harkishan Singh Kablon.
Mr. Avtar Singh was allegedly killed by a mob on June 4 in the Golden Temple. Besides Sardarni Bimal Kaur Khalsa Major Jagjit Singh (retired) is also being interrogated in this connection. Major Jagjit Singh was released from the army during Operation Blue star. Intensive interrogation is continuing for the last ten days.
