OTTAWA:60,000 protested against the Federal Governments anti Canadian policies demanding jobs and an end t6 free trade and woods and services tax, Canadian Labor Congress which has a membership of 2.2 million organized this rally, Bob White, president of the Labor Congress said, We want Our political leaders fighting for jobs and not jobs fighting for the deficit.” ‘The Labor Congress paid more than $290,000 for buses and trains in Ontario and Quebec to carry protestors to Ottawa.
