VANCOUVER: International Sikh Youth Federation has appealed to all the Sikhs to beware of the propaganda of the Indian government against militants organizations especially about Dr Sohan Singh ask the Sikh leaders who work for the common cause of Khalistan.
In a written statement issued by Ranjit Singh from the Sub Unit Vancouver of I.S.Y.F says that the Indian Government’s agencies are playing games with the Khalsa Panth In this last political plot it tied to create confusion amongst the underground militants. As well as trying to create a disturbance amongst the Sikhs living in the free world Self-styled discredited leaders within our communities have taken advantage of this situation in trying to defame the militants working under the guidance of the Panthak Committee This is a dream that will never materialize We urge these leaders to stop misusing the Gurdwara stages. The Sadh Sangat comes to the Gurdwara for peace of mind not to hear organizations attack other organizations.
I.S.Y.F. appeals to these leaders to start working for the common goal of Khalistan and stop trying to defame the leading Soros in the struggle for freedom of the Sikh nation.
Either these so called leaders of the Panth are purposely trying to be ignorant or they are purposely trying to create a disturbance within our community. I.S.Y.F.as always will not answer these accusations against our freedom fighters because we know they want us to react so they can destroy the image that we have tried so hard to make for ourselves. Living in a democratic country we leave the situation in the Sadh Sangats hands.
Rumors of Dr. Sohans resignation as well as statements about elections and the militants were a bid on the part of the agents of R.A.W to create confusion before the elections in Punjab. Dr. Sohan Singh did not resign nor has he is given any of the statements printed in the newspapers in the past few weeks. There is perfect unity amongst the militants.
Due to the fact that all freedom fighters are underground these false statements spread all over the world before they could be answered. Senior members of I.S.Y.F. have confirmed these statements were false but nevertheless certain people were given the chance to spread false propaganda.
Our aim is Khalistan not internal fighting within the Panth. We urge every Sikh organization who is involved with playing these games to stop trying to divide the Panth even more and start a process where we can unite and bring down the walls of the Indian Governments dynasty.
I.S.Y.F. had taken the first step but the elder leaders did not react to our call for unity. On our last banquet in Vancouver in which many government officials attended and were very sympathetic to the Sikh struggle for freedom we invited every Sikh organization in the lower main land in an attempt for unity We are very glad t tell you the dinner party was very successful and the turnout was fantastic But it never dawned on one particular organization to support this common cause That same organization is now attacking our freedom fighters credibility. We ask them one question how can you say you are Khalistan is and at the same time attack the freedom fighters who are dying for that cause.
I.S.Y.F as you well know mostly consists of Sikh youth not to say we don’t have educated and elder people leading us. We would like to ask the same leaders one more question. Why do you keep on attacking us as well? We are your youth. Who do you think is going to handle the affairs of the Panth when you die? So why don’t you support us now so when you retire you will be assured the youth are Capable of handling the affairs of the Panth.
In the future we urge the Sadh Sangatto find out any information about the Panthak Committee to Contact the official representatives of their committee In the U.S.A. we have Dr. Amarjit Singh Khalsa spokesperson for the Panthak Committee and director of Khalistan Affairs Center.
