Chandigarh: Lt General J.K Puri who relinquished charge as Advisor to Punjab governor last week, is again being appointed Advisor to the Congress (l) government.
The military advisor will be appointed for six months for the present and his term would be extended, if necessary, according to state administration sources.
General Puris main job will be to ensure coordination between the state government and the army which remains in position in Punjab despite the completion of the election process.
