Hussainiwala (Ferozepore) (PTI): Beant Singh, Chief Minister of Northwest Indias Punjab state Monday denied giving an interview to a foreign news agency at Ludhiana in which he was quoted as saying that the army had been called in the state to crush militancy.
He told the newsmen here that no media person had met him at Ludhiana…
He said the Army was in the state only assist civil administration.
