STOCKTON: There has been a persistent rumor being passed oft ds news thanks 40 the Punjabi language press in Canada and England that Dr Sohian Singh was hiding here in the U.S. These papers splashed the mischievous Misinformation of the Indian govt across their front pages.
Our inquires found that the intention to spread such defamatory and damaging news is intentional and aimed at spreading confusion among the Sikhs.
All India Sikh Students Federation President and Panthic Committee member Bhai Daljit Singh discounted the rumor us baseless and mischievous. He lamented the lack of responsibility for the sake Of sensational news by the Punjabi Press which was playing into the hands of the Indian govt.
He appealed to these papers to show sonic responsibility and respect to those who have sacrificed everything for the Sikh cause and not publish unsubstantiated and biased reports.
