NEW DELHI: Now it is the tum of officers of the Election Commission to raise a banner of protest against the Chief Election Commissioner, T.N. Seshan. ‘The officers of the commission, from section officers to the non IAS secretaries are wearing black arm bands against the “divide and rule” policy of the CEC. They have also threatened to intensify, their agitation, including steps like going on mass casual leave, if necessary, a spokesman of the commission’s officers association, who did not want to be named, said they are observing an indefinite protest from Oct.31.
