DHAKA, Dec. 27, Reuter: Bangladeshi customs agents saw a man struggling to carry a weighing machine through Dhaka airport, opened it and found 20,000 dollars’ worth of gold inside, police said today.
They said Abul Kalam, a Bangladeshi who arrived on a flight from Dubai via K, was arrested on smuggling charges. If found guilty he faces a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.
