DHAKA: Bangladesh on April 30 hailed the installation of an interim government in Afghanistan,
A foreign ministry spokesman hoped that peace and normalcy would be restored under the interim government to enable Afghan refugees to return home “so that the entire nation can embark upon the task of national reconstruction.”
“Bangladesh has always stood for an independent, non-aligned and Islamic Afghanistan in which Afghan people would be able to decide their own future without any outside interference,” the spokesman added.
