GUWAHATI: Weapons belonging to the Bangladesh Rifles were suspected to have been used in an attack on a gambling den in Goalpara district of Assam last week.
A police spokesman said here that five persons opened fire while some persons were gambling at Aithan village in Goalpara district, killing two persons and injuring two others. While the assailants fled, the police later found ammunition with Bangladesh Rifles markings.
