SRINAGAR: Life was crippled in the Kashmir valley on Jan 10 following a bandh called by the All Parties Kush “Mir Hurriyat Conference (APKHC) while three persons were killed and security forces apprehended 22 militants in the valley over the weekend.

Shops and business establishments remained closed in the valley following a bandh call given by the APKHC in protest against the presence of security force bunkers at Hazrubal shrine They appealed 10 the people not to offer prayers at the shrine on the occasion of Meraj-ul-Alam festival on Monday if the bunkers there are pot removed by the authorities un. Conditionally However the authorizes have deployed Jammu and Kashmir armed police inside the shrine and BSF outside.
